Leftist Hypocritical Hate Logic

During the George W Bush presidency, liberals wore these shirts and had bumper stickers like these:

Or wear obscene tees:

Isn't this kind of vulgarity typical of the hateful Left?

Funny isn't it? So when the Leftists do these mean spirited things,

Or poke fun at Bush AGAIN

by comparing him to Hitler

The Leftists feel very contented with themselves; however, when Obama gets lampooned the same way:

Via effigy,

Being called a dope,

Being compared to The Joker with a socialism twist,

Lastly the Hitler comparison,

These liberals scream and holler FOUL. It's a hypocritical and cowardly move on their part.

During the Bush presidency, the Left always claimed that dissention is a form of patriotism; now, that there are peoples protesting Obama's policies and expressing themselves via Tea Parties, artistic expressions and voicing their opinions, all of a sudden these Obama protestors are vile, evil and racist.

I guess the Left doesn't get it. They haven't grown up yet.

It's too bad that these Leftists are too hypocritical and tyrannical in their ideas they cannot see it for themselves. I also feel that these so called progressives (the words progress means to move higher or to improve, but I think these liberals are going backwards) are immature and angry. I mean, the Left won the election, & they're still pissed off!

You ended your essay with "I guess the Left doesn't get it."
I disagree.
They do "get it". They do indeed!
What you're seeing is merely their way of fighting what they believe to be the proverbial 'good fight'.

Again, I mean no offense to you for saying this. But the constant complaint of "Why won't they sit down and have a civil conversation/debate over the issues? Why is it okay for them to do ___, but not us?" might be our death-knell.
The Left doesn't want to debate the issues, they don't want to negotiate, they don't want to find common ground, and they don't want to reach an understanding with those who don't share their views.
The Left wants to win.
Period.
At all costs....by any means necessary.
Liberalism is their religion and they are devout followers of their faith.
Have you ever heard of a devout Christian advocating a peaceful negotiation with Satan in order to reach a bipartisan consensus? Of course not. Satan is evil...and his way is wrong.
In the cult of modern Liberalism, so are we.

We want to debate them...they want to denigrate us.
We use cold, substantive facts to bolster our views...they use slick, superficial propaganda to bolster theirs.
And...most galling of all...whenever anyone on the Right becomes skilled at using the Left's own weapons against them (i.e.- Ann Coulter, Andrew Breitbart, Greg Gutfeld, etc) the Left howl with indignant rage, using words like "juvenile" or "hate-filled" to describe the person/tactic.
Damned annoying, I know...but that's how they do things.

It is with no small irony, considering the Windy City origins of President Obama and several key Administration members, that I would refer to the classic line uttered by Sean Connery in the movie The Untouchables...but it seems that more of us on the Right need to learn to embrace The Chicago Way when dealing with the Left. Because too many of us are bringing the proverbial knife to a proverbial gun fight.

If we want to return our great nation to the way it should be we need to stop commenting on how the Left is constantly pulling a gun on us whenever we pull a knife on them.
We also need to stop fretting when the Left complain about somebody on the Right actually being smart to pull their own gun in return.

I'm not saying we need to forgo the use of facts or peaceful negotiations...but I believe we should also use the tactics of Saul Alinsky, Marshall Kirk, and Hunter Madsen with the same deft skill and aplomb that they do.
And, even better...find a newer, more formidable tactic to utilize against them!

We should at the very least be prepared to pull the proverbial knife and the proverbial gun on them at the same time.
And it certainly wouldn't hurt if somebody could find a way for us to pull a proverbial RPG as well!
